Full-Time Physician Opportunity! Mt. Sinai Wellness Center Our beautiful campus is situated on 43 wooded acres on the North Georgia Mountains, just 55 miles outside of Atlanta. Mt Sinai Wellness Center offers those seeking addiction treatment in a discrete, private setting, coupled with top medical care. Our property features beautiful views of nature and our dcor provides for a tranquil setting with a mountainous backdrop. Quiet, serene areas help patients focus on their recovery without the loud distractions of the outside world. We are searching for an innovative/dynamic Physician to join our medical department.   • Interviewing, managing. training, evaluating, and counseling physician extenders
  • Implementation and enforcement of medical policies, procedures and training
  • Assistance as needed with development of clinical policies, procedures and training
  • Assistance as needed with completion of federal, state, county and other regulatory applications, permits, licensure, inspections, etc.
  • Correspondence and interaction with key regulatory (DEA. SMA, Medicaid, SAMHSA/CSAT, etc.) personnel, accrediting bodies as necessary
  • Participation in federal and state opiate/substance abuse trainings, education programs, etc.
  • Supervising and performing (and documenting) chart reviews of all physician extenders for whom the Physician is designated as the supervising or delegating physician, in accordance with applicable collaboration/supervision agreements
  • Participation in meetings, teleconferences, etc. as needed
  • Participation in the Companys Performance and Improvement Process and Accreditation process
  • The continual review and enhancement of medical policies, procedures and protocols
  • Knowledge and compliance with HIPAA policy and procedures
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, in addition to the standards required by The Joint Commission, Board of Health, OSHA, and CSAT
  • Meet quarterly with Medical Leadership team to review, medical process, medical structure, quality metrics, and medical protocols
  • Meet with CMO or designee monthly to review medical personnel, medical operations. Discuss improvements where needed.
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications | Education | Certifications:
  • Board Certified or board eligible with two years of addiction treatment experience.
  • Current state licenses & DEA licenses.
  • Active Data2000 waiver.
  • Ability to prescribe buprenorphine.
  • Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.
  • Satisfactory criminal background check.
  • Satisfactory drug screen.
