Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our physicians and staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and provide education to patients and their families on health promotion and disease prevention.
  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical research and evidence-based practices to provide the highest level of care to our patients.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York.
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification.
  • Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
