Nurse Practitioner - Advanced Patient Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Albany Medical Center. As a key member of our surgical services team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform minor surgical procedures as needed.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.

• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of New York.
• Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
