Paramedic

Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Paramedic to care for our patients in our Emergency Department and Medical/Surgical Unit.
Emergency Department Paramedics strives to coordinate and provide quality-nursing care to all patients admitted to the Medical-Surgical Unit.
A typical day will include: Knows and applies current nursing theory, principles of treatment and nursing procedures in the care of the Emergency Department patients, maintains a safe clean patient care environment. Provides excellent quality of care to Emergency Department patients and performs as a team member by assisting the clinical staff in maintaining a clean, efficient Emergency Department; utilizes interpersonal communication skills to work collaboratively as a team member. Assist in providing safe, appropriate care to patients. Is able to document appropriate written communication in Emergency Department record. Helps provide a clean, pleasant environment within the department for patient care. Maintains service excellence as a priority at all times; behaves in a manner consistent with mission and objectives of Citizens Memorial Hospital and performs other duties as requested.
The position is: Part-time NIghts 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
Job Requirements:

• Education: EMT Training
• Skills: EMT-P procedures
• Licensure/Certification: Current Missouri EMT-P License, and Missouri Driver's License (Class E)
• Experience: Previous pre-hospital experience
