<strong>We are searching for a proven leader with food packaging and manufacturing experience to join our team as our Packaging Supervisor at LaClare Creamery! </strong>This role will help take our cheese packaging team to the next level! The person in this position will motivate the team to meet their performance goals and established metrics supervising three production lines. Our Packaging Supervisor will improve efficiency and productivity while upholding our high quality standards and products will adhere to first pass quality standards. Our Packaging Supervisor position is eligible for monthly bonus opportunities!</strong><br><br><strong>Key Tasks & Responsibilities:</strong><br><ul><li>Works with Plant Manager to complete all tasks within the production areas</li><li>Oversees daily operations and direct team to ensure all tasks are being completed on time and accurately within the packaging area.</li><li>Achieve key business results against targets set forth around safety, quality, efficiency, schedule attainment, and team development</li><li>Identify and implement process improvement projects</li><li>Coaches, develops team members, and manages performance of team members</li><li>Develop key metrics and measures results of packaging team</li><li>Assists with all production runs and ensuring documentation for all steps in make procedure to ensure accurate, consistent, safe, and quality products every time</li><li>Maintains a clean organized work area. Clean and return all equipment back to its designated area immediately after done using. Complete time of use, daily, weekly, biweekly, and monthly sanitation scheduled responsibilities along with documentation once work is complete.</li><li>Assists in the facilities maintenance program by informing the maintenance team of issues as they arise so the equipment is performing optimally. Supervisor shall act as the first line of defense in maintaining and problem-solving maintenance issues.</li><li>Coordinates make schedule based upon the production schedule to insure efficient makes of all products to the highest standards. Will be required to make sure all documentation is filled out completely and accurately per the Food Safety Programs.</li><li>Follows all policies and procedures LaClare Creamery has implemented in regard to food and personal safety to assist in maintaining a safe work environment and safe, quality products at all times.</li><li>Lives the Mosaic Way while promoting our values and culture drivers</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><br><strong>Skills & Attributes:</strong><br><ul><li>Listening - extracts and uses information from oral communications</li><li>Oral Communication- effectively expresses oneself in one-on-one communication and in meetings</li><li>Written Communication - possess excellent written skills when developing production paperwork, production schedules and other needed information</li><li>Presentation - Accurately displays visual management metrics and effectively communicates production status</li><li>Professional - is consistent, intelligent, organized and a continuous learner.
