About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Ascension Via Christi, St Francis in Wichita, KS. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in the immediate post-operative or post-procedural period.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to AORN/ASPAN standards for aseptic sterile technique.
- Evaluate patient responses to treatments and interventions, managing pain and anticipating case-specific needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kansas.
- Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire date.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification preferred.
