About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Trauma Program at Ascension Via Christi, St Francis in Wichita, Kansas. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide direct nursing care to patients in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Responsibilities- Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring seamless coordination with other healthcare disciplines.
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure a smooth transition.
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date required.
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
1 year ICU experience and trauma experience preferred.
