Rate of Pay : $18.77/hour

Benefits : Temporary; Part-Time, Non-Exempt employees are eligible for but not limited to the following:

Sick leave benefit - 1 day per month, 12 sick days per year (accrual and availability begins at hire; sick accrual ispro-rated for part time hours)

Duties and Responsibilities:

Interview, Assess the Needs of, and Assist Clients in a confidential, friendly, non-discriminatory, and respectful manner in keeping with the mission of The Salvation Army and within social services budget. Supervision of food donations driver and food pantry volunteers. Ensure that all food is safely and properly processed according to Safe Food Handling guidelines. Timely and proper completion of all paperwork and data input for social service client assistance. Work closely with other agencies exchanging information, ideas, and client referrals. Follow and model The Salvation Army Policies and Procedures. Other duties as assigned. This description should not be interpreted as all inclusive. Qualifications: Education/Work Experience:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. 2-Years of experience in social service and case management, crisis intervention, working with those in rehabilitation programs, etc. or the equivalent, and be a minimum of 21-years old. Have a valid Wyoming Driver License Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (required but not all-inclusive): Able to work independently with little or no supervision yet function as part of a team. Able to multi-task. Able to effectively handle stressful situations in a calm, confidant, and professional manner. Demonstrates crisis intervention and non-physical mediation skills. Able to effectively communicate in English (Spanish fluency also desired but not required). Able to learn and be functionally literate with required computer programs and software.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis. Ability to grasp, push, pull, and reach overhead. Ability to operate telephone. Ability to lift to 25 pounds. Ability to access and produce information from the computer. Ability to understand written information.
