Grounds/Custodian- Full Time-$1,500 sign on bonus-$15hr Job Category** : Resort Operations Requisition Number **: GROUN04691 Showing 1 location Job Details Description Shift: Morning and Mid This position will be responsible for performing general maintenance as well as daily trash pickup and removal, and grounds maintenance. Including but not limited to, courtyards, parking lots, driveways, sidewalks, signage and lighting, fitness courts and playground areas. Will work with other resort staff and contract staff as well. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND TASKS:

• Perform daily tasks such as garbage pickup and removal, trash pick-up throughout property, seasonal snow plowing, Pressure washing of buildings, backpack blowing of buildings and common areas, and basic facility inspections for deficiencies and debris. Use of light machinery such as land mowers, snow blowers and weed eaters is required.
• Maintain expectations for all aesthetics while upholding standards set forth by the company. Report grounds conditions and general issues that dont comply with our standards.
• Inspect common areas to prepare for days activities.
• Occasional chemical applications weed eating for nuisance weed control. Snow removal and salting of roads and sidewalks.
• Work with other resort staff and vendors as necessary and perform other duties as assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1-year experience of landscape maintenance is a plus CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
• Any certificates are a plus
• Must have valid drivers license QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid drivers license, and minimum of 1 years of driving experience.
• Must meet company motor vehicle report requirements.
• Knowledge of tools, methods, and materials used in grounds maintenance is a plus.
• Must have the ability to operate motorized equipment
• Must be able to understand principles and regulations for chemical applications
• Must have the ability to read and understand product labels for chemicals used INDRO2 zrro2
