Cardiovascular Echo Tech
Job Summary:
Cullman Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated, self-motivated individual to join our team as a Cardiovascular Echo/Vascular Technician. This position is responsible for the performance of a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures within the Cardiovascular Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in cardiovascular disease, be able to work well in a team environment, and be able to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities: Perform Echocardiography and other NIVS Vascular procedures

• Assist with various procedures as ordered by the physician
• Adhere to all patient care protocols and safety standards
• Maintain a clean and sterile work environment
• Follow all infection control procedures including proper cleaning of hands before and after procedures,
• Participate in training and or continuing education regarding procedures and techniques of care required by the department
• Perform all duties within the scope of the job description, which may include other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• Eligibility or successful completion of credentialing through either the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
• Six to 12 months experience in Echocardiography/ vascular Technologist Non-Invasive experience preferred. Must demonstrate an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
