*Director Pharmacy*

Summary:
* Assumes responsibility for management of assigned unit.
* Directs and manages overall administration and quality of Pharmacy Services provided for patients and staff of CR.
* Responsible for developing departmental policies relevant to the operation of the department of pharmacy.
* Establishes and implements standards of practice that comply with regulatory agencies.
* Demonstrates and encourages team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
* Upholds and promotes patient safety and quality.

*Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required *

*Education: *
* PharmD required. Must be currently licensed by the State of Alabama.

*Experience: *

3 to 4 years Director level experience in an acute care facility. Must demonstrate leadership ability, good judgment, and self-motivation. Strong written and oral communication and organizational skills are a must.
