8th Avenue Food & Provisions is a growing organization made up of businesses that produce and sell quality products including pasta, peanut butter, granola, and fruit and nut trail mixes to retail, foodservice and ingredient customers. The company was formed in October 2018 through a combination of Post Holdings' private brands businesses and is owned by Post Holdings and funds affiliated with Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P. ("THL"), a private equity firm.

Responsibilities

Position Summary:

The Sr. Analyst, Supply Chain has the overall responsibility for defining and executing the strategy to evaluate, prioritize and deliver Business Intelligence (BI) reporting & analytics projects within the end-to- end Supply Chain function at 8th Avenue Food and Provisions. This role will collaborate with SC leadership, IT teams, other functional business partners to lead technical requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and implementation of projects. This role is critical to the delivery of reporting/analytics that meet business objectives within Supply Chain.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for leading projects to create Reporting & Analytics solutions for the end-to-end Supply Chain team at 8th Avenue. Collaborate and build working relationships across business units and functions to develop strategic and tactical solutions based on business functional requirements. Understand SC business problems and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and work with the team to solve them through data, analytics, and visualization / dashboards. Look for synergies where Reporting projects can align and be standardized across business units. Educate SC reporting users on the data assets we have and how to leverage data to enhance business decision making. Delivery of reliable, scalable, and efficient data and analytics solutions by managing all phases of the development life cycle to include requirement gathering, design, development, and deployment. Design, build, and validate Tableau dashboards, data sources, and ad-hoc reports Design, build, and validate Snowflake queries and views Collaborate with the Data Engineering / BI team to combine data from multiple sources and develop integrated data sources and dashboards Document business requirements and processes to ensure data is reliable and ready for consumption. Develop reporting for SC team when 8th Avenue Food and Provisions is engaged in acquisition diligence, as needed. Partner with IT to ensure sustained availability of BI systems and reporting; ensure data quality and timely resolution to data and performance issues. Evaluate and recommend new BI technologies that could be leveraged to enhance productivity (ex: Predictive, etc.) Identify process improvement opportunities to drive innovation. Provide ad hoc analyses and special project work. Additional duties as assigned by management. Education, Experience and Certifications Required: Bachelors' Degree (BA/BS) from a four (4) year college or university, along with 5+ years of relevant, analytical, and reporting development experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and advanced analytics. Four (4)+ years of experience developing dashboards and data sources in Tableau Four (4)+ years of experience developing SQL queries and views. Snowflake experience is a plus but not required Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to analyze and translate business needs to design, program & implement effective reporting and visualization solutions. Excellent knowledge of systems project work and familiarity with Data Architecture. Experience working with multiple business areas (ex: Supply Chain, Operations, etc.). Experience in the Consumer Goods/Manufacturing Industry preferred. Must have a valid U.S. Driver's License.

Physical Requirements:

This position is regularly required to communicate with others, both oral and written. This position is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Travel: This position may travel up to 5% of the time.
