Operational Accounting Analyst

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Minimum 2 years of cost accounting or equivalent experience in manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical skills

What you will do:

Responsible for the compilation and analytics of inventory activity.
Responsible for researching and analyzing consumption rates and BOM’s.
Responsible for collecting and preparing operational KPI’s.
Responsible for researching labor variances and indirect labor usage.
Assist with the preparation of monthly forecasts.
Assist with Operations & Manufacturing projects.
Assist in annual Physical Inventories
Assist in Operational Planning and output analysis.
Assist in sales and shipping analysis.
Prepare detailed reports, both periodically and ad-hoc
Overhead absorption analysis.
Standard cost rollup analysis.
Slow moving and obsolesce review.
Intercompany material transfer analysis.
Assist in month-end close and preparation of month-end reports.
Monitor changes in processes or methods to calculation effects on overall costs.

Additional Qualifications Include:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 2 years of cost accounting or equivalent experience in manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical skills
Strong knowledge of MS office programs heavily in Access, Excel, and Word.
Proficient in US GAAP.
Effective communication skills (both written and verbal).
Previous experience in consumption and inventory management.
Strong project management skills.
Ability to collaborate with multiple people across different departments.
