Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - Electrical

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering
Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
Broad understanding of programming and hardware

What you will do:

Develop hardware, software, and user interface for custom factory test stations, which may include C/C++/C#, LabVIEW, QT, and Python.
Design, program, and troubleshoot factory automation systems using PLCs, HMI, and robotic cells.
Generate schematics and drawings for control systems.
Perform pneumatic assembly and electrical wiring.
Oversees equipment builds, qualifications, and implementations.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers at all manufacturing sites.
Investigate new technologies for manufacturing process needs.
DFMA analysis of both new and existing products
Provide technical advice and support for AME and R&D Engineering.
Assist in troubleshooting existing production equipment.
Other assignments as deemed appropriate by the supervisor or manager.
Occasional travel required as needed to support project deployment.

Additional Qualifications Include:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Controls Engineering, or other related field
1-3 years of professional experience in a similar role required. 3+ years of professional experience preferred.
Experience with standard programming languages like C/C++/C#, Python, etc.
Experience creating GUI apps using LabVIEW or QT.
PLC, and HMI programming and diagnostics experience.
Strong leadership skills working in a collaborative environment.
Proven Project Management experience.
Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization.
Experience assisting with NPIs.
2D AutoCAD and schematic creation.
Powered holding and test equipment design experience.
Experience with robotic and automated cells, preferred.
Experience with 3D CAD software, Creo preferred.
Capital equipment procurement experience, preferred.
