Position : Documentation Specialist (Must Have Excel & SAP Exp)

Location : Sparks, MD

Duration : 12 Months contract

Total Hours/week : 40.00

Shift: 1st Shift 730 AM - 4 PM

Job Description Summary

  • The Documentation specialist is responsible for clerical duties related to the maintenance and updating of technical documentation.
  • Administers the updating of procedures based on redline changes provided by team members and administers the routing and approval of these changes in the electronic document management system.
  • Supports manufacturing departments in Quality Investigations and other assignments.

  • Administers the updating of procedures based on redline changes provided by team members and administers the routing and approval of these changes in the electronic document management system.
  • Completes tracking, logging, updating and version control of technical documents according to business standards.
  • Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Updating Microsoft Word documents based on input from team members. Creation of Change Requests for documents using the electronic documentation and change control software.

  • Required Skills Proficient in the use of a personal computer with intermediate level of keyboarding skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school education or equivalent. 1 year of job-related experience preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Familiarity with SAP preferred.
  • Familiarity with technical wording and documentation. Knowledge/Skills Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to solve practical job-related problems or recognize the need to ask supervisor for assistance.
  • Required to sit, communicate, listen, stand, bend, reach with hands, lift or move up to 25lbs (archive record boxes). Vision requirements include ability to see and interact with a computer.
