Full-time, 40 hours/weekVariable day shift with rotating weekendsOnsite$2,000 Sign on bonus [taxable] availableSummary:Assist in assessing, planning, and delivering care to patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse and or Provider to provide basic bedside care within prescribed limitations for hospital patients of all ages. Responsibilities:Assist in the collection of patient data for analysis by an RN or ProviderObserves patient and reports any unusual conditions to professional staffAdministers medications and observes patients for adverse reactions to medications or treatmentsPerforms routine laboratory testingProvides education and information to patients and family membersParticipates in the departmental orientation of new employees in a positive manner, shares knowledge, experiences, and provides guidance when assignedMaintains complete and up-to-date documentation and files at all timesAdheres to National Patient Safety Goals as outlined by JCAHOPerforms other assigned task to promote efficient practice operation and contribute to the provision of quality patient careOther duties assigned Other information:Technical ExpertiseExcellent customer serviceProficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) preferredEPIC or similar EMR software preferredExcellent verbal and written communication skills requiredPrevious Physician Office experience preferredAbility to perform Phlebotomy preferredEducation and ExperienceEducation: Graduate from an accredited practical or vocational nursing program.
