About Us: Utah Valley University (UVU) is seeking a technology project team member for e2i. Through e2i, students work within interdisciplinary teams, while getting paid. Companies and entrepreneurial UVU students provide the project, and we build a team that works with a student project manager to complete the project, replicating industry practices.
This is an excellent opportunity for any students currently studying web development, computer science, software engineering, or any similar degree to gain valuable professional experience.
Role Overview: As a Technology Project Team Member, you will contribute to e2i's success by working on real-world projects involving software development, app development, and more. You'll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and ensure that projects are completed to industry standards.
Summary of Responsibilities
Project Team Members can expect to fulfill duties such as:

  • Software engineering
  • Prototyping
  • Data analysis
  • Professional writing
  • Professional communication
  • Full-stack development, front-end development, back-end development, database management, embedded systems, or game development
  • Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be a current UVU student
  • Must be in good academic standing
  • Must be available for at least 5-10 hours per week
  • Represent UVU with professionalism when interacting with industry partners
  • Ability to work in a team setting
  • Strong discipline, flexibility, creativity, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Pursuing a degree in Web Development, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with full-stack development, front-end development, back-end development, database management, embedded systems, or game development
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to apply them in real-world projects
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to different project requirements and technologies
