Job Description: This position has been allocated for an ABIM certified/eligible physician. Internist, Internal Medicine Physician Utah Valley – Provo, UT When you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.” About this role: As a Physician in Internal Medicine, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and an excellent patient experience. Utah Valley Internal Medicine is located within a multispecialty clinic on Utah Valley Hospital's campus in Provo, UT. In this role, our collaborative team of providers work well with one another to create an environment of support that our patients see daily and comment on often. This clinic sees a wide breadth of patients in both their ages and varying levels of complexity. A couple of aspects which set this clinic apart as a premier care site in the area are the close affiliation with the senior medicine care in the building, a passion for the latest technology supporting advanced clinical care, our in-house mental health integration, and supportive care for LGBTQ+ patients. You will add your clinical expertise and come with a team player’s attitude to provide excellent care to our patients. Open Monday through Friday 8-5, you will spread your clinical care over 4 days (3 in clinic, 1 day performing video visits) and be responsible for 32 patient-facing hours weekly, with one weekday off to attend meetings, catch up on notes, return phone calls, in addition to other administrative tasks as they relate to the role of an Internist. Call is shared with other providers in the group in addition to some providers in the area for a wider call share.
