Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Fall River, MA Job Type: Full-Time Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our school district in Fall River, MA. The SLP will provide speech and language therapy to students with communication disorders, including speech, language, voice, fluency, and social communication challenges. The ideal candidate will work closely with teachers, parents, and other specialists to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and ensure students receive the support they need for success in both academic and social settings. Key Responsibilities: Conduct assessments and evaluations of students to diagnose speech and language disorders. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with communication needs. Provide direct therapy services to students in both individual and group settings. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to create comprehensive strategies for student success. Monitor student progress and adjust therapy approaches as needed. Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans for students. Educate and provide resources to teachers and families on speech-language development and strategies to support students. Maintain accurate records of assessments, therapy sessions, and student progress. Stay current with best practices, research, and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Valid Massachusetts licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Experience working with children and adolescents in a school or clinical setting. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
