In this pivotal role, you will render comprehensive professional assessments, therapy, and psychoeducational trauma-informed care to parent survivors of domestic violence whose children attend the Project CHILD program. You will also provide individual, group and/or filial/family therapy configurations to parents in collaboration with the Project CHILD team.

Must be flexible to work late afternoons and early evenings Monday through Thursday until at least 7 pm. Work hours arranged according to the program’s schedule and clients’ needs

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct client intakes and assessment interviews.
  • Conduct weekly therapy sessions with individuals and/or families.
  • Provide clinical case management services for families, as well as client advocacy and referral services as needed.
  • Create comprehensive client treatment plans and review/revise as necessary.
  • Complete client evaluations and discharge summaries.
  • Facilitate psychoeducational, parenting, support and/or therapeutic groups.

Experience:

  • LCSW, LPC, or LMFT highly preferred, but will consider LSW/LAC candidates with related experience (the salary will be based on Licensure level, experience and education)
  • Master’s degree required
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience providing clinical services to families affected by domestic violence necessary
  • Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is required to conduct sessions fully in Spanish
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task necessary
  • Must be a motivated self-starter
