JOB SUMMARY:

The Chesterfield Township Leisure Services Department is seeking applications for the position of Leisure Services Site Manager to work predominately at the Chesterfield Community Center, located at 48400 Sugarbush Road.

Employees in this role will be responsible for; supervision of Township buildings and activities; directing and assisting guests; assisting instructors/presenters as needed; light cleaning of equipment and rooms; activity room set-up; managing registration and collecting funds; supply and equipment inventory; performing other duties as assigned. Incumbents in this position may be rotated or transferred to other facilities, and/or assignments, based on department needs.

This is a year-round, part-time position, scheduled to work no more than 29 hours per week and is subject to required pre-employment and annual background screens.

Hourly Rate: $17.00.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must have a valid Michigan Driver's License, and dependable transportation.

Must be available to work day, evening, weekend and holiday hours, as needed.

Ability to push, pull, move, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.

Position requires frequent walking, sitting, standing, and bending; seeing (vision), talking/speaking, and listening/hearing.
