This pivotal role involves leading and designing solutions for various business initiatives. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, pleasant to collaborate with, and constantly seeks to improve and expand their skills. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will mentor and guide junior developers while also contributing to the technical direction of our projects.</h2><p><h2><b>Responsibilities:</b></h2><ul><li>       <b>Lead</b> the design, code, testing, deployment, and support of software for our business and commerce needs.</li><li>       <b>Troubleshoot </b>and resolve complex software defects.</li><li>       <b>Conduct</b> code reviews and ensure adherence to established coding standards.</li><li>       <b>Facilitate</b> design meetings with users, management, and architects.</li><li>       <b>Analyze</b> production issues to determine root cause and provide resolution strategies.</li><li>       <b>Drive </b>continuous improvement of software development practices.</li><li>       <b>Mentor</b> and guide junior developers.</li><li>       <b>Collaborate</b> with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.</li><li>       <b>Stay current</b> on industry trends and best practices.</li><li>       <b>Develop </b>a deep understanding of Medline’s business domain and apply this knowledge to all software development activities.</li><li>       <b>Comply </b>with all company policies, procedures, and governmental regulatory mandates.</li></ul><p><div></div><div></div><div></div><div></div><h2></h2><h2></h2><h2></h2><h2></h2><h2></h2><h2></h2><h2><b>Qualifications: </b></h2><div><h2></h2><h2></h2><h2></h2><h2></h2><h2><b>High Proficiency in the Following:</b></h2><p><ul><li>       <b>Front-end or back-end development </b>(minimum 5 years professionally)</li><li>       <b>Full-stack development </b>(specifically with Java, JavaScript and MV* Framework, such as Angular – 2 year min for each)</li><li>       <b>Cloud and container-based development and deployment (Azure preferred).</b></li><li>       <b>Object-oriented design principles and patterns</b></li><li>       <b>SpringBoot</b></li><li>       <b>RESTful web service development</b></li><li>       <b>JUnit, Mockito, PowerMock.</b></li><li>       <b>Karma or Mocha</b></li><li>       <b>JSON, XML</b></li><li>       <b>SQL</b></li><li>       <b>Git</b></li><li>       <b>Experience with at least 1 API design tool </b>(Swagger, Apiary, OpenAPI, etc)</li><li>       <b>Agile Scrum</b></li><li>       <b>HTTP protocol</b></li></ul><p><b>Desirable Experience</b> (Not Required):</p><ul><li>       <b>Docker, Kubernetes, Helm.</b></li><li>       <b>SOAP, OData, GraphQL.</b></li><li>       <b>OAuth 2.0, Ping Federate.</b></li><li>       <b>J2EE (JSP, Servlet, EJB).</b></li><li>       <b>JPA, Hibernate, Spring Data.</b></li><li>       <b>Splunk</b></li><li>       <b>4-year degree in Computer Science or a related field.</b></li></ul><p></div><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:left;"><b>Benefits</b> - Medline is committed to offering competitive benefits and a variety of choices to best meet the needs of you and your family.
