IT Support Coordinator

Responsibilities
    • Support all Corporate and Production users with hardware and software issues via phone/ticketing/radio.
    • Provide support for IT Projects when needed
    • Help implement best practices (IT/Security) across the entire company
    • Assist with maintenance and troubleshooting of LAN/WLAN issues.
    • Manage Computer Hardware Lifecycle
    • Provides timely and thorough support to Production Floor, including being on-call, and escalating if required
    • Manage the ticketing system, handling tickets as they arrive and escalating when necessary, making sure SLA's are not breached.
    • Assist in Onboarding and Offboarding of employees, including creation and deletion of accounts.
    • This role may include some System Administration work dependent on employee skill set.
    • Help create and maintain useful, easy to digest documentation for both IT and End Users
    • Other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 or more years of experience
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of Windows 7/10/11 workstation support
  • Basic knowledge of entry-level Active Directory administration tasks
  • Proven troubleshooting abilities for basic to intermediate users.
  • Able to provide high quality support to non-technical users
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • Must be able to communicate scope of work and technical findings or recommendations to non-technical audience.
  • Must have strong customer service skills; able to maintain professional demeanor at all times.
  • Must be independent and a self-starter.
  • Must be interested in always learning and growing.
  • Must be flexible and adaptable in diverse situations and systems.
Preferred
  • Certifications are a plus (MS-102/CompTIA Security+/A+, etc.)
  • Powershell knowledge is a plus
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 is a plus.

Work Environment
Work environment is typically in a corporate office setting. However, this position is required to work in the plant environment which involves moderate risks or discomforts which may require special safety precautions working around moving machines in production facilities. Protective clothing or gear such as goggles, gloves and shoes may be required.
Physical Demands
Work requires some physical strain such as long periods standing and walking in production facility and lifting of moderately heavy items. Other physical demands include climbing, crouching, and reaching.
