Job Description
The Senior Data and Reporting Analyst integrates data from multiple sources to develop regular and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and development of KPI/metrics. They mine and interpret data and use it to tell visual stories that display and identify the organization's progress on key Recruiting metrics and improvement areas. The Senior Data and Reporting Analyst must work cross-functionally to effectively understand organizational goals, workflows and systems, as well as reporting requirements and cadence. The Senior Data and Reporting Analyst is a shared resource, reporting to a Director of Finance while supporting the Clinical Recruiting leadership team. Additionally, this position works with executives and other operating team leaders to set company-wide investment direction, policies, and deliver data driven information. The Senior Data and Reporting Analyst has a strong background in people analytics and systems (HRIS and ATS). They are highly adept at data analytics and visualization tools including PowerBI as well as related techniques and best practices.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Create and verify integrity of large data sets to centralize management and reporting of data
  • Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging Human Resources and Financial data to drive business solutions
  • Mine and analyze data from Workday Human Resources Information System to drive optimization and improvement of business strategies
  • Research national best practices for HR data analytics to make recommendations
  • Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques
  • Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets
  • Develop queries, validate and export data in various formats for HR and Recruiting dashboards/metrics, automating the delivery where possible
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis to produce reports, assessments and proposals that will help organizational leaders make informed and data driven business decisions
  • Coordinate with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes
  • Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy
  • Manages data query requests related to Human Resources data to ensure the team handles these in an effective and efficient manner
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with business partners and vendors
  • Generates reporting packages for Executive leadership and Board of Directors
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Experience using data analytics and visualization tools including PowerBI, is required
  • Expert-level experience in Microsoft Office suite is required including Microsoft Excel skills
  • Workday experience required. Bullhorn ATS experience preferred
  • Highly skilled at using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is required.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements
  • Ability to mine, cleanse and transform combined datasets for analysis and reporting
  • Experience mining from a data warehouse is strongly preferred
  • Excellent time management skills including multi-tasking, managing deadlines and providing project oversight
  • Excellent written, verbal and listening skills to effectively communicate with others at all organizational levels
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills with ability to manage expectations and priorities
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. Comfortable with ambiguity with ability to challenge traditional thinking to solve data and reporting problems
  • Excellent attention to detail, to be able to review their own work for accuracy
  • Ability to maintain trust and integrity when working with confidential situations and information
  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure
  • A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, mathematics, statistics or other related field of study, master's degree preferred
  • 5+ years' experience excelling in a related data reporting role, working with people-centric data
  • Experience working in a Clinical Healthcare or people/services organization strongly preferred
  • Experience in the analysis of healthcare data including multi-level drill down assessment of key HR metrics and related financial performance is a plus
  • Experience working within a complex distributed software systems environment and helping to organize and build data structure and relationships related to Quality Improvement and Population Health
  • Health care industry experience preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods and occasionally walk, stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 15 pounds
  • Required to have close visual acuity to perform the job.

Salary Range:
$78,566.00 - $145,347.00
Salary may be determined on several factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, experience, education, geographical location and requirements stated in job description.
