Inventory Jr. Analyst

<strong>General Purpose:</strong><br><br>Complete the day to day duties for Distribution planning of Finished Goods. This will entail taking the demand plan and using to develop a supply plan.<br><br><strong>Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities</strong><br><ul><li>Distribution Planning</li><li>Coordinate Forecast load into Master Scheduling</li><li>Manage the Master Schedule parameters to create gross production requirements for factories and POR for purchasing agents</li><li>Develop the forecasted outs report for each distribution location and research issues.</li><li>Maintain Minimum and Multiple settings for each Finished Goods Parts</li><li>Review Customer Order Shortages and communicate availability with customer service and or the factory affected</li><li>Communicate changes in product availability with Distribution Managers</li><li>Update customer order planned dates based on revised availability of inventory</li><li>Inter Company Transfers</li><li>Issue and Maintain Intercompany Purchase Orders</li><li>Confirmation of Intercompany Purchase Orders</li><li>Setup of Supplier for Purchase Part in accordance with company processes</li><li>Communicate changes in scheduling with the factory planners.</li><li>Communicate Expedites of Inventory with the Distribution Managers</li><li>Manage Adjustments of Inventory for creation of picklists</li></ul><br><strong> Knowledge/Skills</strong><br><ul><li>Basic computer skills.</li><li>Good communications skills to help distribution managers resolve conflicts in schedules.</li><li>Must be able to understand the planning parameters for parts.</li><li>Must be able to anticipate problems and make decisions quickly and confidently.</li><li>Must understand inventory control and management.</li></ul><br><strong>Education Requirements/ Experience</strong><br><ul><li>Four year college degree in related field or 1-3 years industry experience</li><li>Prior experience working with ERP planning systems preferred</li></ul>
