Haven Behavioral Hospital is looking for compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Mental Health Support Specialists. In this role, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, maintain a safe and efficient treatment environment, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care as assigned by the Registered Nurse
- Observe and report changes in patient condition or behavior
- Intervene in behavioral crisis situations
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
- Monitor vital signs
- Facilitate educational and activity groups as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of acute inpatient psychiatric care experience preferred
