<strong>Information Technology Field Technician </strong>(IT Field Technician)<br> <br> <strong>JOB SUMMARY:</strong> <br> <br>Under direct supervision, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals. Documents, maintains, upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.<br> <br> <strong>JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:</strong> <br> <ul> <li>Responsible for support and maintenance of PC based Point of Sale (POS) equipment, supermarket scales, remote office PCs and printers in store locations</li> <li>Assist in resolving first level technical problems related to POS, Supermarket Scales, wireless order guns, office PCs, printer and phone equipment</li> <li>Update and maintain store systems to ensure 100% uptime</li></ul> <br> <strong>JOB QUALIFICATIONS:</strong> <br> <br> <strong>Education:</strong> <br> <ul> <li>AA degree or technical institute certification/degree, preferably in Information Technology</li></ul> <br> <strong>Experience:</strong> <br> <ul> <li>Hands-on experience with personal computer support</li> <li>Knowledge of Server 2003 Active Directory, XP, UNIX, and Linux computing environment software</li></ul> <br> <strong>Field of Expertise:</strong> <br> <ul> <li>Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems</li></ul> <br> <strong>Skills:</strong> <br> <ul> <li>Must have strong computer skills</li> <li>English/Spanish Bilingual (preferred)</li> <li>Self-starter and highly motivated to do excellent work</li> <li>Ability to communicate with all levels of personnel</li> <li>Ability to prioritize and multi-task</li></ul> <br> <strong>Requirements:</strong> <br> <ul> <li>Must be flexible to work on weekends and evenings as needed</li> <li>Must have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation</li> <li>Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, and background check</li></ul> <br> <strong>COMPENSATION:</strong> <br> <br>The salary range for this position is $25.00 to $31.00 per hour.
