Job Description:


We are currently seeking a skilled, motivated, ethical and safety-oriented Sheet metal Technician. The Sheet metal Technician must complete tasks in accordance with all mechanical codes, job specifications, plans and contract documents resulting in a complete and proper working system. Qualified candidates must be able to install all types of commercial, residential Sheet Metal/Duct Work and HVAC equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Install residential and commercial HVAC Sheet metal duct work equipment and systems and ensure this is done up to local code standards.
  • Complete necessary paperwork: daily reports, timesheets and RFI's.
  • Ability to read blueprints and other diagrams.
  • Maintain accurate and complete list of job materials used.
  • Cooperate with other trades on the project to complete the project.
  • Responsible for physical job site organization and housekeeping to ensure a safe professional work area.
  • Responsible for maintaining knowledge of local/national codes and industry standards. Ensure that all necessary inspections are made through all phases of work.
  • Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of company equipment as well as monitoring the use and timely return of rented equipment.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is expected to meet the requirements of this position


Requirements:

  • High school graduate or equivalent or tenured experience.
  • Graduated from an approved HVACR program or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 2-year residential/commercial HVACR Installation.
  • Work outside, inside, and in dusty, noisy, and hazardous areas.
  • Work in high places, tight places, confined spaces and/or other adverse locations.
  • Climb, balance, squat, kneel and crouch.
  • Work in all types of weather.
  • Must have working knowledge of all trade materials and tools.
  • Ability to lift and carry 51 to 75 lbs. occasionally, and/or 31 to 45 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 16 to 22 pounds of force constantly to move objects.


Salary:

  • $20.00 - $45.00 D.O.E
