Bell Laboratories Inc., a local and family-owned manufacturer in Windsor, WI, has an exciting new opportunity for a motivated individual to join our talented Human Resources team. This internship opportunity will provide valuable hands-on experience in various aspects of HR, including recruitment, benefits administration, and project management. As an HR Intern, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our HR team and gain practical skills in a professional setting.

Our intern will work under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager to provide administrative support to the department, working closely with each member of the team to gain a better understanding of what it means to be a resource to employees within a manufacturing facility. This position will work onsite/in office, 8:00AM – 5:00PM, Monday - Friday with a targeted start date of late May/early June.

- Assist with recruitment efforts, including posting job openings, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
- Assist with benefits administration tasks, such as enrollment and answering employee inquiries
- Contribute to HRIS projects, including development of document management system, testing workflow and auditing data
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems
- Create reports for managers and HR team
- Assist with employee communications and social media management for HR initiatives and employer branding
- Provide administrative support to the HR team as needed

  1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree at the in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience working in a customer service / people-facing environment.
  3. Working knowledge of U.S. labor laws.
  4. Familiarity with HRIS software is advantageous.
  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  6. The ability to work as part of a team.
  7. Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  8. Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
  9. Effective communication skills.
