Role

As a Maintenance Technician (also known as Maintenance Mechanic, Maintenance Engineer), you will be responsible for executing maintenance assignments to ensure all equipment is in optimal operating condition. You will troubleshoot mechanical devices, operate shop machinery, repair/modify electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment, and maintain an accurate inventory of parts. This role requires a proactive attitude towards minimizing equipment downtime and lost production capability.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, electrical, mechanical, or a related field.
  • Strong Industrial Electrical experience including troubleshooting and repairing PLC's, electronics experience, DC drive units, programmable logic, working with 3 phase motors, 480v and below, MA current signals.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading, PLC troubleshooting skills, and troubleshooting CNC machines.
  • Ability to operate a wide variety of tools such as hand tools, power tools, drill press, band saw, welder, cutting torch, etc.
  • Basic computer skills: MS Office, Windows. Knowledge of SAP is desirable.
  • Specific Craft Certification/Licenses and technical education are a plus.
