Duties & Responsibilities include:
- Assist the Resident Care Director with prescreen/admission, assessments, and service plan coordination.
- Audit SAMM for compliance.
- Assist in monitoring of medication administration.
- Supervise and oversee Memory Care and Resident Care Assistants.
- Report illnesses and incidents to appropriate next of kin.
- Assist with pharmacy deliveries.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures and standards of conduct.
- Occasional On Call required.
- Current RN or LPN license in state of Massachusetts.
- Experience in Assisted Living preferred.
- Ability to lead, direct and supervise others.
- Previous experience working with individuals with dementia including handling complex behavioral issues and educating staff and families on dementia related topics.
- Certification in Dementia Care preferred. Excellent ability to communicate and follow up with residents and family members.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Proficient MS Office computer skills.
- Must be able to move at least 50lbs without assistance; bend, reach and work in small areas; push and pull equipment; be able stand for long periods of time.
