Floating Press Operator -G (Nights 6pm - 6am)

The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties; however, it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.<br /><ul><li>Demonstrate commitment to safety and performs job duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.</li><li>Demonstrates commitment to quality and performs job duties in adherence to GMP guidelines.</li><li>Should be aware of their responsibilities and their accountability is clearly defined for key staff involved with product safety, legality, and quality systems.</li><li>Understand job ticket information to determine quantity, stock specifications, special work instructions, and any other special customer requirements.</li><li>Determine the best manufacturing method to produce product efficiently and effectively.</li><li>Perform make ready and operate offset printing press efficiently.</li><li>Maintain high efficiency according to established rates during operation of the assigned press.</li><li>Troubleshoot and make decisions regarding the quality of finished product.</li><li>Complete required quality inspections and paperwork.</li><li>Work with peers and other departments to improve quality and performance.</li><li>Play an active role in the maintenance and cleanliness of the assigned press and surrounding work area.</li><li>Contribute to overtime needs to meet customer demands.</li><li>Must be qualified to operate Toppy skid turner.</li><li>Provide informal leadership to the Feeder Operator/Second Pressman to accomplish production objectives.</li><li>Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements.</li><li>Actively participate in Lean manufacturing initiatives.</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned by management.</li></ul> <img src="https://ars2.equest.com/? response_id=ebc7f654d193a78f6c1fdc9ed5bcc7fb&view" alt=" " width="1" height="1"/>
