Field Engineer

<strong>FIELD ENGINEER</strong><br><br><strong>Primary Function: </strong><br><br>Provides technical, quality control and administrative support to Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Project Managers. Reports to the Project Manager or Deputy PM on job sites. <br><br><strong>Location: </strong>Belle Chasse, Louisiana 70037<br><br><strong>Activities and Responsibilities:</strong><br><ol><li>Ensure that all TREVIICOS and OSHA safety regulations are followed and enforced.</li><li>Ensure all work follows TREVIICOS Quality Control Manual, Approved Submittals and Work Plans.</li><li>Perform field quality control tests.</li><li>Prepare and manage quality control and production records.</li><li>Review and resolve drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interferences, and errors.</li><li>Run small work crews (technical tasks like water testing, load testing, etc.).</li><li>Perform field surveys and resolve geometry issues.</li><li>Prepare drawings and sketches to support construction work.</li><li>Order materials, write purchase orders, and tracks inventory.</li><li>Assist in preparation of change order documentation and claim analysis.</li><li>Interface all on-site departments as required to resolve problems, ensure quality of construction, etc. in support of overall project schedule.</li><li>Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction.</li></ol><br><br><strong>Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience</strong><br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree, preferably in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical training and related experience.</li><li>2 -3 years of prior construction site work experience.</li><li>Moderate to High level of proficiency operating MS Word, Excel and Outlook and CAD.</li><li>Converse effectively using both verbal and written communication.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills plus demonstrated ability to manage a team of varied disciplines. </li><li>Make decisions and assume accountability.</li><li>Ability to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance.</li><li>Strong problem solving, analytical and organizational skills.</li><li>Thorough and systematic, able to effectively manage time and compete deadlines.</li><li>Able to work in a dynamic environment.</li><li>Assess safety and risk.</li></ul><br><strong>What we offer:</strong><br><ul><li>Working in At TREVIICOS we give you a foundation that will anchor your career and provide fulfillment in the highly specialized field of ground engineering.</li><li>You will Enjoy a dynamic environment with growth opportunities within an international group.</li><li>We provide Exceptional Medical, Dental, Vision insurances</li><li>We provide 401k Plan with employer match</li></ul><br>The ideal candidate must be legally authorized to work in the USA<br><br>TREVIICOS provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, genetic information, disability, ancestry, religion or veteran status, or any other status protected under applicable federal, state or local law.
