Overview

Lead mission based strategic project teams responsible for introducing new products, technologies, and processes as well as major updates to existing infrastructure based on overall company strategic objectives. The senior project manager works cross-functionally to establish and manage the project plan incorporating deliverables from multiple functional areas, including sales, engineering, IT, supply chain and manufacturing.

Responsibilities:

Project execution & coordination (70%) Responsible for planning, execution, and management of various projects, projects related to key business initiatives as determined by the strategy execution office. Develop project from Vision to Execution using industry best practices within the TDW framework Plans, tracks, and communicates project progress to stakeholders and organizational leadership Proactively manages changes in scope, identifies potential crises and devises contingency plans. Works with project owner to develop the charter and success measures in support of project business case. Must adapt and deal with situations and manage everyone's expectations through ongoing change within the project team and stakeholders. Performs analysis and reviews post project implementation to identify potential issues and bottlenecks. Conducts project status meetings to drive deliverables and manage impacts to the project plan. Planning and reporting (30%)

Works with the team to mature project management best practices across the organization. Develops plan and manages project reporting in the enterprise PPM tool. Others: Relationships with others & Communication Reports to Product Management Works closely with the various teams throughout the organization to achieve the project objectives. Works with third party vendors and/or suppliers when needed to achieve project objectives. Customer Orientation. Maintains strong partnerships with internal customers by understanding and responding to their needs and requirements. Experience:

Business and/or Engineering Bachelors Degree preferred. A minimum of 3-8 years of Project Management experience required. Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma tools, thinking, and techniques with experience in problem solving techniques/statistical analysis. Working understanding of the PMBOK and project delivery methodologies. C.A.P.M or P.M.P. preferred. Superior communication skills, both verbal and written and proven ability to influence people at all levels in the organization Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project, ServiceNow PPM Ability to develop high level relationships and rapport with business partners Possess strong ability to exercise sound judgment in guiding technical decisions. HSE requirements Follows HSE policies by applying the instructions and procedures of the HSE manual, by participating actively in the Hazards and (Near-miss) Incident Identification and by behaving safely. Ensures the development and achievement of quality objectives commensurate with TDW's quality policy, which assures continued ISO certification.
