  • 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Mon -Fri ( Shift pattern is subjected to change)  
Location: Vernon, TX
*6-Month Minimum Contract Assignment with option to extend
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Responsible for handling patient appointments and performing routine examinations to ensure patient health.
  • Providing primary care to patients
  • Performing initial examinations, including physical exams and patient observations
  • Setting up and monitoring medical equipment
  • Ordering and administering diagnostic tests
  • Communicating test results to patients and their families
  • Recording patient medical histories
  • Operating and maintaining medical equipment

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:
  • Must have graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
  • The Family Practice Nurse Practitioner (RN, FNP-BC) is credentialed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) and authorized to practice as an advance practice registered nurse by the Texas Board of Nursing.
  • All Practitioners must have a current, unrestricted license in Texas to practice in their respective profession.
  • Must have current registration certificates from the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and the Texas Department of Public Safety Controlled Substance Board
  • Must possess a National Provider Identified (NPI#) as defined by Medicare Part B.
  • CPR certification
