Facility Maintenance Tech I

<p style="text-align:left;"><b>Job Description</b><p><b>Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li><p>Complete and respond to all assigned work orders, trouble calls, and emergency maintenance calls.</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate record of all operating logs for fire pumps, generators, HVAC equipment, and other facility systems that are tested on a routine basis.</p></li><li><p>Perform repairs and facility support tasks.  Tasks include, but are not limited to, light bulb/ballast replacement, door repairs, furniture installation, ceiling tile replacement, and maintaining operation logs.</p></li><li><p>Perform carpentry duties such as painting, caulking, installing drywall, and installing shelving.</p></li><li><p>Perform plumbing repairs such as unclogging drains, installing fixtures, and replacing internal components.</p></li><li><p>Perform other duties as assigned or as necessity dictates.</p></li></ul><p><b>Required Experience:</b><p><b>Education </b></p><ul><li><p>High School Diploma or equivalent.</p></li></ul><p><b>Work Experience </b></p><ul><li><p>At least 1 year of general building maintenance experience.</p></li><li><p>Experience applying knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire systems.</p></li><li><p>Valid Illinois driver’s license.</p></li><li><p>Willing to work weekends or other overtime hours as business needs dictate.</p></li></ul><p style="text-align:inherit;"></p><p style="text-align:left;"><b>Benefits</b> - Medline is committed to offering competitive benefits and a variety of choices to best meet the needs of you and your family.
