Division Overview:

Ampirical's Transmission & Distribution Division (T&D) manages and designs concurrent large-scale transmission projects. Our engineering employees have designed hundreds of miles of overhead transmission and distribution lines for a variety of energy clients. We utilize the latest in design software tools to provide a thorough technical line design.

Job Summary:

Plan, direct, coordinate, and budget construction and maintenance of structure, facilities, and systems. Participate in the conceptual development of a construction project, and oversee its organization scheduling and implementation.

What we Offer:

The salary range for this position is $130,000-$190,000, dependent upon experience and qualifications.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably Civil or Electrical Engineering PMP Certification preferred 3+ years of experience working in Transmission & Distribution in the Utilities industry Advanced organizational skills to manage multiple complex transmission line projects ensuring safety, cost, schedule, scope, and quality is met Superior interpersonal skills to operate within a matrix environment Outstanding leadership skills to build and motivate project teams Exceptional presentation skills Excellent computer system skills related cost and schedule reporting (specifically Primavera and Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible for leading a team of Design and Construction Engineers in the execution of T&D Line projects from initiation of the project through close out. Responsible for managing project budgets ranging from $250K - $50 million. Manage project schedules and deliverables to meet external customer goals. Interface with all internal and external stakeholders affected by the project including project team, management, end users, governmental/regulatory agencies, and vendors. Report project status weekly and monthly to upper management, including comprehensive cost reviews and projections.
