Experienced Bartender at the NEW Heirloom Room Creekside Restaurant & Bar

Job Summary: The role of a bartender is to provide an above-and-beyond service experience and to ensure that all guests are served beverages and/or food in a timely, friendly, and high-quality way that follows safety procedures for serving alcohol. It is also the responsibility of the bartender to enrich the guests' experience and always show genuine interest in their needs. The Bartender is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to all cocktails, wines spirits and beverage selections and how they pair with the various menu items to bring out the best flavors. General Responsibilities: Make and/or serve high end cocktails, wine whiskey &amp; bourbon.Stock bar with sufficient alcohol, garnishments, glass, paper and plastic supplies.Check identification to verify customer is of legal drinking age.Keep bar clean and sanitizedUpsell food and beveragesFollow Aatmos standard for Cost Per Pour to ensure highest profitability.Attempt to anticipate the needs of guestsProcess guests checks and submit closing paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.Close/ break down bar and clean all workspaces and equipment Specific Responsibilities: Use hotel software systems as per Aatmos Standard Operating Procedures.Have a thorough knowledge of all menu items.Upsell guests by informing them of the restaurants offerings.Ensure drinks are mixed and prepared to the guests satisfaction and made to Aatmos standards.Sanitize work areas including countertop, tables, chairs and kitchen equipment.Prepare bar equipment to be ready to use for the next shift.Clean glassware, utensils, and bar equipment.Dispose of all empty cans and glass bottles in the appropriate containers.Conduct inventory of food &amp; beverages per Aatmos standardsHandle customer service issues and liability related issues that can arise with intoxicated guests by cutting off alcohol service, asking customers to leave premises during altercation, or arrange transportation for guests.Perform other duties as needed Optimum Attributes: Detail oriented and thorough Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guests Ability to perform consistent work to the highest of standards Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant friendly way Extensive knowledge of drink preparation or service Ability to memorize different Food &amp; Beverage menus Ability to remain calm when dealing with unruly and argumentative patrons Strong time management skills and ability to multi-taskEffective communication skillsGood listener with attention to detailTeam player with a pleasing personalityReliable, responsible and dependableWell-groomed and professional appearanceFlexible schedule and willing to work on holidays if required Ability to complete orders quickly and accurately Benefits Health Insurance 50% paid by employer Discounted Vision and Dental Insurance Discounted Hotel Rooms Paid Time off / Vacation Pay Sick Pay <img src="https://ars2.equest.com/? response_id=d26a8e2fe8875433450656a4f84e9b66&view" alt=" " width="1" height="1"/>
