Emergency Department RN - Start ASAP

*Job Title*: Emergency Department RN
*Assignment Length:* 13 weeks with possible extension
*Location:* Detroit, MI
*Shift:* Day and Night Shift
*Pay Rate:* $62/hour

*Job Summary:*

Emergency Department sees 200-300 patients per day. Patient population is all ages, but pediatrics is rare. High population of psych and critical patients. Only outsource burns and pediatrics.

*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
* Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
* Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
* Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.
* Perform other job duties as needed or assigned by the client.

*Experience:*
* Minimum of 2 years ED experience.
* Previous experience at a Trauma Level 1 facility.

*Job Requirements:*
* Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
* Active MI RN License
* Current BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and ENPC Certifications
* Fully Vaccinated against Covid-19
