Product Manager

The pay range for this position is listed below. Our pay ranges are built to allow for candidates with various levels of skill and experience to be considered, as well as for room for growth and tenure achieved in a role over time. Typical new hire salary offers fall within the minimum to midpoint of a pay range for many candidates. Any offer extended to a candidate will be based upon their unique set of knowledge, skills, education, and experience as well as internal equity.

Pay Range:

$110,274.00 - $165,412.00

What You’ll Be Doing

Responsible for a product or product line, including development, participation, profitability, roll-out and testing to ensure overall contribution to organization. Leads project teams for timely and flawless implementation. Conducts comparative analysis against competitors and provides strategic planning of product direction and features.

Research new and existing products. Monitor industry trends, including researching competitor practices and pricing. Undertakes research projects and creates focus groups, as necessary. Develop and execute a strategic product plan. Develops, maintains, and fully understands product descriptions, including how the products work from start to finish. Participates in establishing annual goals and objectives for each product and develops management reports to track process on a monthly basis. Assesses needs and opportunities for new products and positions products within the philosophy of Credit Union and context of participation. Responsible for effective product communication and knowledge oversight of product features and benefits to team. Work with all levels of management in what product development, as well as working with internal departments on issues related to evaluation, implementation, launch, and ongoing servicing. Provides recommendations to management on product pricing strategy and develops methods to track the progress of recommendations that are made. Command of the intricacies of each product line, and serve as the in house expert on a number of product-related issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience required Master's Degree preferred 5-7 years of previous related experience required Product development experience in a financial institution required 5-7 years of project management experience preferred Product Management Professional (AIPMM) Certification
