About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of People to join their small, close-knit management team. This role is pivotal in the early-stage, scientifically and technically driven therapeutics venture, with a focus on scaling up technology, R&D, and engineering to bring new therapeutic antibodies and medicines to market. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the people function, including strategic planning, DEIB, and culture alignment. They will mentor and lead a small team, oversee HR infrastructure, and ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations. Key responsibilities for the Vice President of People include developing strategic people plans, coaching the management team, leading workforce planning, total rewards, organizational design, talent acquisition, and talent management. The role demands a strategic business partner with the ability to balance long-term strategies with tactical solutions, and a passion for guiding the growth of people initiatives in an early-stage company. The role requires a candidate with at least 10 years' of HR experience in a high-growth environment, preferably with venture-backed and larger company experience, and a proven track record of supporting leadership teams and Boards in successful market introductions.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, broad knowledge of HR issues, and a general understanding of life sciences or technology industries. They should possess excellent communication and presentation skills, the ability to influence stakeholders, and a strong commitment to enhancing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
