We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at Ascension Via Christi. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic procedures using ultrasound waves to examine tissue and body structure, providing high-quality images for interpretation.
Key Responsibilities:- Set up and adjust equipment to perform exams, ensuring proper functioning and safety standards.
- Implement quality control procedures and recognize significant structures, artifacts, pathology, and equipment limitations.
- Perform routine and complex studies, assisting in various imaging procedures, and ensure prompt submission of high-quality images and documents.
- Maintain a clean and orderly department, adhering to regulatory agencies' compliance.
- BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire date.
- One or more of the following certifications: ARRT, ARDMS, or CCI, obtained within 12 months of hire date.
- High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience or Associate's degree/Technical certificate required.
