is seeking a highly motivated, compassionate Inpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Per diem/causal LPN ! As an Inpatient LPN, you will be responsible for providing direct, hands-on patient care in a rural hospital setting. You will be a key member of the healthcare team, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure our patients receive the highest quality of care. You will also be responsible for administering medications, monitoring vital signs, managing patient records, and providing education to patients and families. Our hourly rate is based on years of licensure with a base rate range of $22.50 - $26.50. Night shift nurses also receive an additional 10% differential pay bringing the hourly rate range to $24.75 - $29.15.

Job purpose A clinically competent licensed nurse who provides immediate, specialized patient care with a multidisciplinary provider team, under the direction of a Registered Nurse and within the scope of their licensure. Observes and reports patient responses to treatments and follows the patient care plan. Must possess the basic and advanced practical skills.

Qualifications

Valid and current registration, NYS LPN license BLS certification.

It is the employee's responsibility to know the requirements for certification, limited permit and licensure for their individual profession. It is also the responsibility of the employee to notify the employer of the status of any certification or licensure issue or potential issue. The employee will comply with all of the requirements outlined by the New York State Office of professions for the particular profession.

Working conditions and Physical requirements

Regular day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. OSHA Category A - potential for exposure to blood and other infectious body substances. Bending, lifting, standing, walking.
