  • Performance testing: SDETs use key performance indicators (KPIs) like response time, baseline, stress test, and throughput.
  • Manual testing: SDETs perform manual testing to ensure all service functionalities are covered before automation.
  • Security testing: SDETs improve code quality and make products bug free.
  • Collaborating with developers: SDETs review developer code, provide feedback, and understand code design concepts.
  • Creating test cases: SDETs design and implement test cases.
  • Writing code: SDETs write code to improve software testability.
