Job Summary
Performs various daily tasks, including processing ACH files, exception items, corrections to deposit accounts and other duties as assigned. Provides excellent customer service by assisting customers and employees, answering questions regarding transactional activity and other general bank and deposit account inquiries.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Process various exception items promptly, accurately, and according to policy to meet required deadlines and mitigate potential losses for the bank:
o ACH return and invalid accounts, NOC, Death Notices
o DDA, SAV, COD, FMS and SDB non-post
o NSF Items
o Chargebacks
o Incoming cash letters
· Perform duties related to the Overdraft Program such as mailing customer letters, monitoring reports and other maintenance, etc.
· Retrieve and send daily ATM remote balancing totals to designated branches
· Set up ACH Origination batches for consumer customers (transfers that can’t be set up at account level)
· Perform balance and repair functions for branch transactions, RDC, mobile and lockbox in preparation for outgoing cash letters. This may include periodic evening shift coverage for vacation/personal time (9:30am-6:00pm).
· Process gift card fulfillment requests
· Perform complex account research, tracking and reporting using Navigator, Director, and Continuity Control.
· Perform Stop Payment Functions:
o Stop Pay Suspect Review
o Expired/Deleted Stop/Hold Review
o Process Stop Payment requests in Navigator
· Monitor account closing worksheets for special handling instructions of outstanding items.
· Assist with customer and branch requests as needed
· Review and process:
o ACH disputes
o Perform intake responsibilities from secure mail system to resolve customer inquiries, escalating as appropriate according to bank policy.
· Assist with debit card production as needed.
· Performs card maintenance including changes to cards and updating Client Central.
· Maintain current knowledge of internal risk controls and loss prevention, including reporting suspicious activity per bank policy.

Education and Qualifications
Essential:
· High school education and diploma
· BSA and other Bank related training through BAI is required annually

Experience
Essential:
· Knowledge and experience operating a computer, calculator, and other general office equipment
· Excellent social and communication skills:
o Use professional and clear verbal communication skills
o Use professional phone etiquette, including tone and volume of voice
· Ability to multi-task, work in a fast paced, changing environment and maintain a commitment to accuracy and timeliness.
