The primary function of this position is to assist with the refinement of project vision and requirements, selection of software solutions, communication of project requirements to the technical teams and assisting with the rollout of solutions. This role focuses on projects across the organization, including but not limited to, Jack Henry products with support of other systems as well.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Work with the project team to formulate and communicate the business unit’s vision, gather initial requirements and constraints and to scope the project.
  • Key programming resource on assigned projects.
  • Trusted Systems advisor to the various departments, building relationships with the leadership and team members of the department.
  • Simultaneously support several projects with varied deliverables, team members and audiences
  • Continue to grow knowledge and experience by working closely with higher level Core Applications Project Analysts to support existing systems, learning systems’ functionality and expanding skillsets
  • Responsible for building positive relationships both internally and with vendors throughout the project process
  • Documents/updates processes and procedures for supporting applications
  • Maintain current knowledge and support of technology solutions across the Credit Union including, but not limited to, those provided by Jack Henry. Look for integration possibilities to address business needs when appropriate.
  • Facilitate communication between project stakeholders and technical resources by translating and simplifying the business requirements into actionable pieces that can be readily acted upon by the technical resources and translating the technical questions and complexities into something the project stakeholders will understand
  • Work with project stakeholders to validate their requirements and analysis models and serve as a liaison between project stakeholders and any technical testing
  • Responsible for keeping up on what modules and advances are coming with our Core System and vetting these and creating recommendations on what the Credit Union should take advantage of
  • Provide backup to other Information Systems members
  • Required to participate in First Source Federal Credit Union events as well as designated Community events.
  • Required to travel as needed
  • Required to attend or participate in necessary compliance training, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy, OFAC, and Privacy.
  • Required to attend training sessions as appropriate.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
