Coordinator, Wine Tracking and Compliance (TPWC)

<p style="text-align:left;"><b>Job Description</b></p> <p><b><u>Position Summary</u></b></p> <p>The Wine Tracking and Compliance Coordinator is responsible for compliance and wine tracking activities associated with production operations. They will provide guidance and support to cross functional departments (winemaking, lab, bottling/cellar operations, finance, etc.) to ensure the winery is operating within mandated compliance regulations. This position provides wine tracking and financial duties that include inventory management and timely government reporting. The Wine Tracking and Compliance Coordinator is adaptable to change, goal oriented and operates with high integrity. <u>This position is onsite at The Prisoner Wine Company. </u><br />  </p> <p><b><u>Responsibilities</u></b></p> <ul><li>Track and maintain real-time status of wine movements / inventory including calculating measures and movements to determine losses or gains within 24 hours of completions</li> <li>Post all work orders for bottling and cellar in timely manner</li> <li>Ensure integrity of data within reporting databases in enterprise software and departmental spreadsheets such as: <ul><li>Vintrace</li> <li>SAP</li> <li>Production material receipts</li> <li>Bulk wine movement</li> <li>Chemical inventory lot codes</li> <li>Harvest log</li> <li>Bottling log<br />  </li> </ul> </li> <li>Reconcile and maintain records, wine transactions and compositions</li> <li>Review lab analysis inputs and update errors as needed, particularly across tax classes</li> <li>Responsible for tank inventory reconciliation, responsible for fiscal year-end inventory and reconciliation of both tanks and barrels</li> <li>Conducts or assists with investigations regarding work order discrepancies</li> <li>Produce and verify all monthly reports including monthly bulk premise reports (TTB filings)</li> <li>Assists with internal and external regulatory audits and periodic filings</li> <li>Schedule bulk wine shipments, create BOLs, and maintain interplant shipments and intraplant shipments in regulation</li> <li>Generates Vintrace reports as needed</li> <li>Manage scalehouse to keep up with bulk wine shipping and grape receiving</li> <li>Follow safe operating procedures, support safety programs and policies to safeguard personal safety, company property, environmental and team member’s safety<br />  </li> </ul> <p><b><u>Minimum Qualifications</u></b></p> <ul><li>Computer proficiency in Excel, Word, E-mail</li> <li>Ability to adapt to various software environments</li> <li>Experience in populating and managing database systems, including report generation</li> <li>Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, weights and volume, applying concepts of basic algebra and geometry</li> <li>Able to exercise fiscal responsibility, within established budgetary constraints</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li> <li>Good teamwork and organizational skills</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to problem solve and adjust to changing timelines, set priorities on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment</li> <li>Ability to work in a team environment and perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the company’s values of exhibiting the highest quality standards in all endeavors<br />  </li> </ul> <p><b><u>Preferred Qualifications</u></b></p> <ul><li>Working knowledge of current inventory systems (Vintrace and SAP)</li> <li>Understanding of wine processes<br />  </li> </ul> <p><b><u>Physical Requirements/Work Environment</u></b></p> <ul><li>Works outdoors/indoors</li> <li>Works in warm/cold climates</li> <li>Works in high places</li> <li>Works on wet surfaces</li> <li>Is exposed to loud noise, fumes and/or toxic chemicals</li> <li>Works near moving, mechanical parts and lift truck traffic</li> <li>Must be able to move up to 55 lbs.</li> <li>Primary office environment may be warehouse/distribution setting</li> </ul> <p style="text-align:inherit;"></p> <p style="text-align:left;"><b>Location</b></p> St. Helena, California <p style="text-align:inherit;"></p> <p style="text-align:left;"><b>Additional Locations</b></p> <p style="text-align:inherit;"></p> <p style="text-align:left;"><b>Job Type</b></p> Full time <p style="text-align:inherit;"></p> <p style="text-align:left;"><b>Job Area</b></p> Operations and Production <p style="text-align:inherit;"></p> <p style="text-align:left;"><b><span>The salary range for this role is:</span></b></p> $23.77 - $33.51 <p style="text-align:inherit;"></p> <p style="text-align:left;">This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future.
