At God Chosen Development Center, we use the Abeka-Curriculum. We care for children from 4 weeks to 12 years old and provide a range of age-appropriate resources and activities to encourage their development right up until they are ready to join the school.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Job type: Full-time, Nights/Weekends/Holidays Off

  • You have previous foodservice/food preparation experience, including one (1) year as a Cook
  • Follow the daily menu provided by the Director or food program supervisor which incorporates, USDA, licensing, and/or health department regulations.

  • Coachable

Requirements:

  • Work experience in cooking and/or food preparation for multiple individuals, preferably in a facility childcare setting.
  • An understanding of all current state and local regulations
  • Flexibility as to the hours and schedule of work
  • Order materials, supplies, or equipment.
  • Inspect facilities, equipment, or supplies to ensure conformance to standards.
  • Food presentations.
  • Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment.
  • Serve food or beverages.
  • Cut cooked or raw foods.
  • Prepare foods for cooking and serving.
  • Clean tableware.
  • Maintain food, beverage, or equipment inventories.
  • A High School diploma or equivalent Must be at least 18 years of age
