Job Description Job Description Position Summary:
As a Cook, you will prepare meals and snacks for the children enrolled in the center. You will be responsible for ensuring that meals and snacks are ready at scheduled times. You will prepare and serve food according to the approved menu, and under proper health and safety methods. You will ensure compliance with federal CACFP standards, if applicable. In addition, you may assist in classrooms when needed. This candidate should be able to work Full-time 8:00 a.m. - 5p.m. or 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. shifts as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Must meet state licensing requirements for education and experience
  • Ability to be trained in food service certification
  • Ability to be trained in CPR, Fire Safety and Nutrition
  • Must be able to meet state background check requirements.
