Congregate Meals Coordinator

Job Description Job Description JOB PURPOSE: Congregate Meals Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supervising all activities and duties required by the Congregate Meals Program. This position is responsible for serving approved meals from the menu provided by the cooking site and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the Center.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Always supervise the high standard of hygiene and safety of all areas/equipment.
• Assure temperature logs for refrigerators and freezers are maintained.
• Assure the Center adheres to Food and Nutrition Guidelines at local, state, and federal health guidelines while food is in the kitchen, being served, and during clean up.
• Supervise volunteers to ensure job duties are performed to meet Center standards.
• Enter all data into the SAMS computer system.
• Submit timesheets and all reports in an accurate and timely manner.
• Communicate and develop relationships with new and perspective participants.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Good time management.
• Leadership skills.
• Proficient communication skills, both written and oral.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
• Background check/pre-employment screenings required.

EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. (required)

WORK SCHEDULE: Full-time, 40 hours/week.

PAY: $11.00-13.00/hour
